Grind and Seal Concrete
Grind and Seal Concrete Floor Finishes
The Grind and Seal Concrete Difference
You might not want a full polish but that doesn’t mean you have to accept the drab reality of a plain old slab.
With a grind and seal, the first few millimetres of concrete are ground back to expose the aggregate, as with a mechanical concrete polish.
Following this, the scratches are smoothed out using finer diamond sanders, before applying a three coat clear sealant system.
The result is a “faux polish” which will look great and last up to 7 years before the sealant will need replacing.
Grind and Seal Concrete Benefits
With less processes than a mechanical polish, the concrete grind and seal is more cost effective and anti-slip compounds can be added to the sealant making it great for added safety when wet.
Grind and seal concrete is a great option for those who like the look of exposed aggregate floors, but might not want to invest as much for the result.
WATER AND OIL REPELLENT
The topical sealer is easy to clean and great at repelling water and oily spills from the surface of the concrete.
Elite Concrete Floors uses only the highest quality, UV stable sealant to ensure you get the longest lifespan from your grind and seal floor.
